I am the MidDay host from 10 to 3 Monday through Friday and from noon to 6 on Saturday.
I also take care of all the production needs for the station – if it is not music or one of us talking during our shows, pretty much everything else - those are the things that I put together.
A little about me: I grew up in McLean, VA and now live in Sumerduck. I have been married for 25 years to a wonderful husband, Bruce who is a musician (guitarist) and computer guy. We have three kids: Amberlyn, who is attending community college and pursuing a career in the medical field. She is one of the Leaders of the high school and middle school youth at our church; Corwin, who is attending Rutger’s University this year, is into anything technical and wants to be a rocket scientist; and Emerald, who is in middle school and is VERY artistic. She is the one who went to Japan this summer as a student ambassador. What an awesome experience that was for her! We have 2 rescue dogs that we love very much and that drive us crazy!
I can’t remember life without Jesus in my heart. He’s been there through everything, even the times I tried to run from Him. It is so amazing to me how deeply God wants to be a part of our lives! There is so much joy in discovering His love in new ways each day. The intimacy we all long for is available to us, if we will only draw near to God.
I keep an online journal of sorts, with my thoughts about life, what I am learning through books, sermons and podcasts, and other assorted musings. Please feel free to take a look. If you want more frequent and less intellectual stuff about my life, you can follow me on Twitter.
If you would like to contact me, please feel free to email me, I would love to hear from you.
